TQ Group Announces Software Updates: More Control and Longer Battery Life

July 23, 2025 - Good news for all TQ E-Bike Riders: With the latest software update, your bike just got smarter and more comfortable to ride! The software release package, along with the latest version of the TQ E-Bike App, is available now. Your dealer will be happy to help you update all components of your bike to the latest version.

TQ Software Release – Summary
Improved control on the go
•  Change support levels or display layouts directly via compatible shift levers (e.g. Shimano DI2 or SRAM AXS)
•  Control your lights at the push of a button

Battery
•  All batteries are now compatible with the compact 2A charger
•  Improved battery status accuracy after extended bike downtime
•  New: Storage Mode – (activated via app) protects battery during long-term storage (e.g. over winter)
•  New: Softcharge Mode – (activated via app) extends battery life by gently charging at 2A)

TQ E-Bike App (iOS & Android)
•  Softcharge & Storage Mode can now be activated via the app
•  Full support for SRAM sensors
•  Error codes now displayed directly in the app
•  Improved motor tuning screen
