Turkey Unveils World’s Longest Unbroken 26km Bike Path by Mediterranean Sea

August 27, 2020 - Touted as the world’s longest continuous bike path at 26km, Turkey unveiled the route in the Hatay province along the Mediterranean Sea, connecting the towns of Samandag and Arsuz reports TRT World.

The striking blue-coloured landmark bike path that first welcomed cyclists on July 12 snakes alongside the main road is twenty six kilometres each way.

In the works for five decades, the new route has decreased travel time between the two towns from two and a half hours to only 40 minutes by car. Read the full story here… watch Turkey Info video below.
