Cake eBike and eMotorcycle Global Brand in Sweden Files for Bankruptcy

February 2, 2024 - According to Swedish media reports the renowned global e-bike and e-motorcycle brand, Cake, has filed for bankruptcy as the company was unable to secure new funding when some key investors pulled out.

Cake, founded in 2015 and once valued at €1 billion or more, has been facing difficulties in securing additional funds in the current tough marketplace.

Yet CEO Stefan Ytterborn remains committed to finding a way to save Cake despite the bankruptcy.
