Canadian Cargo Cycle Conference: Opening the Mobility Toolbox on Sept. 20 Register Today

release by Our Greenway

Our Greenway in partnership with Coop Carbone are pleased to announce our inaugural Conference: Opening the Mobility Toolbox being held on September 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM PDT.

Canadian Cargo Cycle Conference: Opening the Mobility Toolbox, is structured around the idea of exploring (1) current programming, (2), policy challenges, (3) barriers to implementation, and (4) the future state for micromobility in British Columbia and from Coast-to-Coast. The intent is to discuss both commercial and family use.

Our panels are:

  • Ongoing Canadian Cycle-logistics Projects and Programs
  • Policy and Regulatory Barriers to Cyclelogistics at Micro and Macro Levels
  • Finding and Producing the right Cargo Cycles for Logistics
  • Strategy and Scale: Cycle Logistics and Sustainable Freight Futures

Local manufacturers and suppliers are beginning to grow and interest from logistics organizations like Canada Post and DHL are on the rise. However, Cyclelogistics in Canada faces significant regulatory barriers that need to be solved before we as a country can reap the full benefits of EV micromobility offerings. Even so, Our Greenway and Coop Carbone believe that the future of micro freight in Canada is bright.
