Denver’s eBike Rebates are So Hot They’re Gone Within Minutes and Cities Like NY are Noticing

October 18, 2022 - (Denver, CO) Denver’s rebates for e-bikes are so popular that within minutes of them becoming available on the city’s online portal they’re gone – this month residents scooped up 400 vouchers and NYC advocates are noticing its success reports Bloomberg.

Offering between $400 and $1,700 off the purchase of an e-bike, the rebate program is one of the largest in the US. It’s been so successful that it’s being looked at as a model by the rest of the country as more communities take on initiatives to reach net-zero emissions targets.

Advocates for the NY Ride Clean Rebate, which would extend the state’s Drive Clean electric car rebate program to e-bikes, pointing to Denver as proof that these kinds of programs can work.
