December 14, 2022 - Cargoroo, a shared e-cargo bike provider based in Amsterdam, has secured €10M investment capital to expand its operations across Europe including Germany and France reports Silicon Canals.
With a fleet of over 700 e-cargo bikes, Cargoroo also intends to significantly increase the number of available e-cargo bikes in cities like Antwerp and Berlin, and recruit new talent to enable seamless customer service.
Founded in 2017 by Erik Winter, Jaron Borensztajn, Jelle Maijer, Cargoroo claims its user base has grown threefold over the past year, covering a distance of over 1,500,000 kilometres.
