eNews: Micromobility Connect’s eBike Training Program Partners with Pedego Electric Bikes & Landry’s Bicycles

May 3, 2026 - As e-bikes continue to gain popularity, a key factor in the equation is e-bike servicing and diagnostics training for bike shops. Micromobility Connect’s award- winning e-bike training program continues to gain traction and recently announced partnerships with Pedego Electric Bikes, one of North America’s leading e-bike brands, and Landry’s Bicycles, with eight retail outlets in Massachusetts.

These new collaborations are designed to deliver world-class technical support education programs, while empowering service departments to enhance efficiency and provide best-in-class customer care.

“As the e-bike market matures, high-level technical expertise becomes a critical advantage,” said Larry Pizzi, CEO of New Pedego Holdings Inc. “Our partnership with Micromobility Connect ensures Pedego dealers remain leaders in service quality and operational performance, while also expanding their technical capabilities to meet broader market needs.” Pedego Corporate is subsidizing participation costs with an account credit to ensure that dealers of all sizes can benefit from this initiative.

Micromobility Connect has also implemented its e-bike service system across all Landry’s locations, bringing consistency and continuity not only to technician diagnostics and the ability to diagnose e-bikes in minutes, but also to service writing, intake, and overall workflow efficiencies. As a result, Landry’s has strengthened its leadership in bicycle retail by building a consistent, professional e-bike service experience across all eight stores.

“The e-bike training from Micromobility Connect was exactly what we were looking for. I watched Landry’s experienced bike technicians gain the knowledge and techniques they need to diagnose and service e-systems with confidence. This has put us on a path to turn a time-wasting, parts-swapping, trial-and-error, unprofit- able exercise into an efficient, systematic, diagnostic approach that identifies the problem component, allowing us to order what’s needed without spending time following the vendor’s parts-swapping troubleshooting process. I appreciated the enthusiasm and passion for the topic inherent in the instruc- tion, and focus on technician safety and creating a safe work environment,” commented Ken McLean, Technical Director at Landry’s Bicycles.

Micromobility Connect was recently recognized with the 2026 National Bicycle Dealer Association (NBDA) Bicycle Supplier Excellence Award.

“We’re proud to partner with Pedego Electric Bikes and Landry’s Bicycles to support their dealer networks through our world-class e-bike technician training program,” said Michael Pasquali, Founder of Micromobility Connect. “What we’ve built is a proven playbook and independent system that removes guesswork, while eliminating part swapping and reliance on support, to allow technicians to independently diagnose all brands of hub motor e-bikes in minutes, establishing a level of structure on intake, service writing and consistency in e-bike service that the industry has been missing.”
