October 18, 2026 - NABSA’s seventh annual Shared Micromobility State of the Industry Report indicates that at least 237 million shared micromobility trips were taken in 2025, up 5% from last year. This marks the third consecutive record-setting year for shared micromobility trips.

At least 403 cities of all sizes across North America had one or more shared micromobility systems in 2025, and 70% of riders reported using shared micromobility to connect to transit.

In 2025, shared micromobility offset approximately 109 million pounds (50 million kilograms) of CO2 emissions by replacing auto trips across North America. Since 2019, it has offset 513 million pounds (233 million kilograms) of CO2 emissions.
