May 3, 2026 - On April 6, Portland launched its $20 million Portland Rides E-Bike Rebate Program. The program offers up to $1,600 for a standard e-bike, up to $2,350 for e-cargo bikes, and up to $8,500 for Adaptive users, plus up to $300 for accessories.

The program prioritizes access for Portland’s low-income communities and is designed to support a cleaner and more equitable future through affordable electric transportation. Whether you are commuting to work or school, taking kids to an activity, or running errands, e-bikes can make daily travel easier.
Funded by the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF), the program aims to make e-bikes more affordable for low- and moderate-income households and PCEF priority populations, support healthier communities, help Portland reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve transportation access and mobility equity throughout the city.
The program is projected to run through 2029.
