October 17, 2026 - In April, Avinox launched its M2 and M2S motors, the next evolution of its award-winning Avinox M1 e-bike drive system.

Both the Avinox M2S and M2 are compact, weighing 2.59 kilograms and 2.65 kilograms, respectively. The M2S offers a 45% increase in power density and a 21.6% increase in torque density, whereas the M2 delivers a 4.6% increase in power density.
The new M2S motor introduces a peak power limit of 1,500W, with 150Nm of peak torque and 130Nm of continuous torque. The Avinox M2 motor offers a peak power limit of 1,100W and 125Nm of peak torque.
At Eurobike 2026, Avinox hosted 19 of its partner brands at its booth, showcasing their latest bike models featuring the Avinox M2S or M2 motors.
Also new is the FP700, a 700Wh high-energy battery weighing 3.18 kilograms and supporting GaN 3x fast charging from 0% to 80% in just 1 hour and 16 minutes. Avinox also introduced its first removable batteries: the RS800 and the RS600.

At press time, Avinox released its new DP200, a 1.4-inch, full-colour LCD touchscreen all-in-one display. The latest version of the Avinox Ride App also offers users even more control from their phones.
Also at Eurobike, Avinox unveiled the new MG Concept, which integrates the motor and gearbox into a single unit. The MG Concept is Avinox’s first concept product, developed in partnership with Canyon, Commencal, Forbidden, and Mondraker. Units were on display at the Avinox booth.

Key features of the new motor include smooth gear shifting, uninterrupted power delivery, and a shift time of less than 0.1 second; fully customizable gear shifting with the option to shift manually or automatically; minimal maintenance for the internal derailleur unit; a natural riding experience; intelligent anti-theft technology with real-time locking of the motor and the ability to use the anti-theft function even without power; and the new platform’s drive units can be easily adapted to eMTB, eTrekking, eSUV, eGravel, and other bike models.
At Eurobike 2026, Avinox also presented its Smoothshift system, featuring an electronic drivetrain. The new system allows the drive unit to detect gear-shift signals and shift the cassette smoothly without pedalling. Smoothshift was also on display on the new Amflow TL, an SUV-style e-bike making its official debut at the show.
