The program includes up to €3,000 per household for the purchase of a new or used e-bikes for all family members in exchange for scrapping a polluting vehicle.

“In a context of rising energy prices, the Government is stepping up its support for the purchase of mechanical and electric cycles and encouraging the use of bicycles, which constitute a cleaner and more economical mode of transport. The decree published today provides for the reinforcement of the ecological bonus and the conversion bonus for the acquisition of a bicycle,” reads the official release.
