It’s Time to Find the Next Bicycle Mayor of Halifax – Applications Open Until April 1

Could you be the next Bicycle Mayor of Halifax? Bicycle Mayors are the human face and voice of cycling advocacy in a city. They bring together creative diversity with new insights and approaches, from both inside and beyond the world of bicycle planning professionals or the political establishment.

Founded in 2016 by BYCS, an Amsterdam-based global NGO supporting community-led urban change through cycling, Bicycle Mayors can accelerate the changes we need to see by uniting all citizens to take action. They share best practices, highlight innovation and continuously develop leadership capacity and insights as they relate to cycling progress.

Over the last few years they have initiated campaigns, become high profile keynote speakers, created ground-breaking community engagement, and have organized cycling events that have mobilized thousands.

Join a global organization and apply by April 1, 2023 here.
