Micromobility Connect Partners with Landry’s Bicycles 8 Locations for eBike Training & Service

release by Micromobility Connect

April 9, 2026 - Micromobility Connect (MMC), a leader in e-bike technician training and dealer support systems, has partnered with Landry’s Bicycles’ eight retailer outlets in Massachusetts, to implement a structured, systemized approach to e-bike service across all locations.

While Micromobility Connect traditionally works with independent bicycle retailers and e-bike shops, this collaboration represents a successful rollout of its e-bike service model across a legacy multi-bike shop operation with a long-standing reputation for excellence, community service, and industry leadership.

Through this partnership, Micromobility Connect has implemented its e-bike service system across all Landry’s locations, bringing consistency and continuity not only to technician diagnostics and the ability to diagnose e-bikes in minutes, but also to service writing, intake, and overall workflow efficiencies.

Across the industry, retailers recognize that e-bikes now represent a significant share of their business. Many report that e-bikes accounted for just 5–15% of revenue five years ago, compared to roughly 40–60% today, and growing. This rapid shift has created strong demand for service yet many shops are still relying on trial-and-error repairs or manufacturer support to diagnose issues.

“Shops have always delivered a high level of service on bicycles, but when hub motor e-bikes entered the showroom and service centers, most mechanics were never equipped with the training or process to support them so they defaulted to swapping parts, guessing, or relying on external support,” said Michael Pasquali, CEO at Micromobility Connect. “What we’ve built is a proven playbook and independent system that removes that guesswork, eliminating part swapping and reliance on support and allows technicians to independently diagnose all brands of hub motor e-bikes in minutes, establishing a level of structure on intake, service writing and consistency in e-bike service that the industry has been missing.”

Micromobility Connect’s approach has helped Landry’s elevate their service department’s capability with a structured e-Bike service system with:
• A professional standardized diagnostic process across all locations
• Independent, in-house troubleshooting across multiple brands
• Consistent service writing and intake procedures
• A clear, connected workflow from check-in to repair
• Structured approaches to employee and shop safety

As a result, Landry’s has strengthened its leadership in bicycle retail by building a consistent, professional e-bike service experience across all eight stores setting a standard for operational excellence today while preparing for the future of e-bike service and elevating their customer experience.

“The e-Bike training from Micromobility Connect was exactly what we were looking for. I watched Landry’s experienced bike technicians gain the knowledge and techniques they need to diagnose and service e-systems with confidence. This has put us on a path to turn a time wasting, parts swapping, trial and error, unprofitable exercise into an efficient systematic diagnostic approach that identifies the problem component allowing us to order what’s needed without spending time following the vendor’s parts swapping troubleshooting process. I appreciated the enthusiasm and passion for the topic inherent in the instruction and focus on technician safety and creating a safe work environment,” commented Ken McLean, Technical Director at Landry’s Bicycles

This partnership reflects a broader industry shift, supporting retailers as they move from reactive service models to independent, reliable and repeatable processes capable of handling the high demand and growth of e-bikes.
