May 4, 2026 - Crafty was born ten years ago, coinciding with the arrival of the first generation of the Bosch Performance Line CX: the first motor created specifically for eMTB. It was then that we saw the opportunity to develop an electric bike designed from its core for mountain biking, our specialty.

The new Bosch Performance Upgrade 2.0 takes the 5th-generation CX and CX-R motors up to 120 Nm and 600% pedal assistance. More push on those impossible climbs. More acceleration in technical sections. More power when the terrain gets serious. But always with the control, precision and riding feel that have made Crafty a benchmark for ten years.

• 600% means boosting your power even further. The new update gives you 600% of max pedal assistance. Or, to put it another way: your muscle power, times 6.
• 120 Nm means breaking another barrier. Reaching a new torque figure that puts the Crafty at the very top. Greater acceleration for those highly technical climbs, even at low cadence.

The Crafty Unlimited ICON is made from Stealth Air full Carbon and features the latest 5th-Generation Bosch Performance Line CR-X Smart System motor and an 800 Wh removable battery with the possibility to add a 250 Wh PowerMore if you need maximum range. And when it’s time to charge, you can remove the battery and do so conveniently off the bike.
