Town Hall in Toronto Nov. 14 How are We Going to Protect Our Bike Lanes? Bring Your IDEAS

release by Jessica Bell MPP University-Rosedale

November 7, 2026 - The fight to protect Toronto’s bike lanes is reaching a critical moment. Doug Ford has ripped out the Bloor West bike lane in Etobicoke, and protected bike lanes on Yonge, University, and Bloor are next in line.

Join me and my colleagues Alexa Gilmour and Kristyn Wong-Tam, for a community town hall alongside:

Cycle Toronto
Greenpeace Canada
Families and Friends for Safe Streets
Advocacy for Respect for Cyclists
Doctors for Safe Cycling
The Biking Lawyer
For Our Kids TO
University of Toronto Graduate Students’ Union

We’ll share the latest updates, discuss what comes next, and take steps to organize to protect our bike lanes.

When: Saturday, November 14 at 1-4PM
Where: Knox Presbyterian Church, 630 Spadina Avenue (Spadina & Harbord), Toronto

Bring your ideas. Prepare for action.

RSVP here.
