February 26, 2022 - (Lake Forest, CA) Yuba Bicycles (Yuba), a global leader in premium cargo bicycles and add-ons, has moved its headquarters to a new location in Lake Forest, CA. Members of the San Juan Capistrano-based team moved the final items to their new office located 16 miles north, the most sustainable way possible – by e-cargo bike.
“There’s no better way to celebrate growth and begin a new chapter at our Lake Forest office than by bringing the last of the items by cargo bike,” said Benjamin Sarrazin, Founder and CEO of Yuba Bicycles. “This trip was a nod to the Boda Boda – a means of transportation in East Africa that inspired me to create a model of the same name shortly after starting the company. Cargo bikes are the most cost-effective and sustainable mobility solutions available today, and while certainly great for carrying people, they can also easily carry anything from bushels of bananas to stand-up-paddle boards and everything in-between.”
The Yuba team moved more than 50 items on seven Bosch and Shimano equipped Yuba e-cargo bicycles (3 Spicy Curry’s, 1 Spicy Curry AT, 1 Boda Boda, 2 Electric Mundo’s). Items included several large boxes of marketing materials, trash recycling bins, first aid kits, a desktop printer, printer toner, a toolbox, a microwave, a laptop computer, a small safe, paint cans, office supplies, a yoga ball, Sarrazin’s road bike and more. All items were secured using Yuba’s premium cargo bike add-ons, including cargo straps, Bread Baskets, Go-Getter bags, a Towing Tray and Monkey Bars.
The Lake Forest office will house Yuba’s sales, marketing, warranty and customer service team. As a result of the move, Yuba is hiring for two key positions in the new office – an Inside Sales Representative and a Mechanic/Warehouse Assistant. The address is 18 Rancho Circle, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
